Recently, during the Paris Olympics, the Xiaomi SU7 appeared on the streets of Paris. Some people guessed that "Xiaomi SU7 is preparing to enter the European market." However, Xiaomi officially stated that they "do not have plans to sell cars in overseas markets in the near future." Xiaomi founder Lei Jun mentioned in a live stream that they aim to "sell Xiaomi cars in Europe before 2030."

The official news says that the Xiaomi SU7 on the streets of Paris is part of the Xiaomi Paris "People, Car, Home Ecosystem" exhibition. Lei Jun also mentioned in the live stream that "our goal is to be among the top five globally, so we will expand internationally at the right time."

Xiaomi plans to become one of the top five global car brands in 15-20 years, and international expansion is key to this goal. Currently, Xiaomi's other products are doing well in overseas markets. According to the Q1 2024 financial report, Xiaomi's overseas revenue accounts for over 50% of total revenue, with smartphone sales abroad making up more than 70% of total sales.

The Xiaomi SU7 has been on the market for over three months and has already been delivered to over 30,000 customers. Lei Jun stated that they expect to reach the annual delivery goal of 100,000 units by November.
