CAMBODIA -- Recently, a delegation led by Henry Yip, Regional Director of BYD Cambodia and Eric Chen, Regional Manager of BYD Cambodia, and Marco Mok, President of Huan Ya He Zhong (Cambodia) Trading Co., Ltd, a local dealer of BYD in Cambodia, paid a visit to Sun Chanthol, the Minister of Public Works and Transport of Cambodia. The two parties held in-depth talks on a range of topics including public transit electrification and the promotion of new energy vehicles in Cambodia and expressed intentions to strengthen cooperation in this field.

On November 29, the Ministry of Public Works and Transport of Cambodia hosted the inauguration ceremony of electric charging piles and the delivery ceremony of electric vehicles. The ceremony was chaired by Sun Chanthol, the Minister of Public Works and Transport of Cambodia, with the presence of Marco Mok, President of Huan Ya He Zhong (Cambodia) Trading Co., Ltd. The Ministry purchased a BYD ATTO 3, marking the first move by the Cambodian government to use new energy vehicles in government services.

As early as August 13 this year, BYD ATTO 3 was unveiled in Cambodia. BYD is going to bring more high-quality products and market-leading technologies to Cambodia and roll out a charging network across the country while promoting new energy vehicles, in a bid to increase the availability of charging infrastructure. With the goal of carbon neutrality, BYD, together with its local partners and the local government, will further promote a low-carbon lifestyle and drive sustainable development.
