Zeekr's third model, the Zeekr X, has entered a regulatory filing list in China, meaning it's getting closer to launch.

The Zeekr X is Zeekr's third model, an all-electric compact car. Its length, width and height are 4,450 mm, 1,836 mm and 1,572 mm respectively, with a wheelbase of 2,750 mm. That size is larger than BYD's five-seat compact EV Dolphin, which measures 4,125 mm in length, 1,770 mm in width and 1,570 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,700 mm.

The Zeekr X, which entered the MIIT's catalog, is available in three versions, including a dual-motor version and two single-motor variants.

Its dual-motor version has a front motor with a maximum power of 115 kW and a rear motor of 200 kW. Both single-motor versions have a maximum motor power of 200 kW. They have a top speed of 190 km/h and 185 km/h, respectively.

The battery supplier for the Zeekr X is a joint venture between CATL and Geely in Yibin, Sichuan province in southwestern China.

As a subsidiary of Geely, Zeekr was officially launched as a standalone company in March 2021. It currently sells the Zeekr 001 hatchback and the Zeekr 009 MPV, both of which are manufactured at the company's plant in Ningbo, Zhejiang province.

The company teased the model earlier this month, with previous information suggesting the car could be named the Zeekr 003, but the official name Zeekr eventually announced was the Zeekr X.
