XPeng's new SUV to be launched this year will not be named the G7 or G5, but the G6, and will feature a new interior design.

The report shared several spy photos of the XPeng model, saying it uses a new style steering wheel with a different instrument screen and center screen than the current models.

XPeng chairman and CEO He Xiaopeng said in a January 28 internal all-staff letter that the company will release two new models and revamp three existing older models in 2023, with a goal of delivering 200,000 vehicles this year.

That report said that XPeng's new SUV would start at RMB 200,000-250,000 and are expected to be unveiled at this year's Shanghai auto show.

In addition to the model codenamed F30, XPeng's other new vehicle is an MPV, internally codenamed H93, based on the H platform, with production scheduled to begin in September this year.

This also seems to be a recent change, as on February 3, XPeng announced that it launched the G9 and the new P7 to the European market, the latter not using the P7i name. The new XPeng P7 appeared in a regulatory filing list in China last November, when the model still carried the name XPeng P7 on its rear end. These may be the result of XPeng's reorganization of its product sequence after the addition of a new president.
