On July 31, BYD announced a long-term partnership with international mobility company Uber. They plan to introduce 100,000 new BYD electric vehicles in key global markets to expand Uber's electric car lineup.The partnership will start in Europe and Latin America, and then expand to the Middle East, Australia, and New Zealand, allowing more passengers to use eco-friendly transportation.

BYD said that in the future, they will offer Uber drivers discounts on charging, vehicle maintenance, and insurance, as well as financing and leasing options based on market conditions. Uber CEO Dara Khosrowshahi mentioned that electric vehicle drivers will cut emissions four times more than regular drivers.

Recently, BYD has been working hard to expand overseas. They have delivered more than 80,000 electric vehicles to over 80 countries and regions. Besides commercial vehicles, BYD is also speeding up the international launch of passenger cars. On July 18, BYD announced their entry into the Vietnamese market and will launch three electric models there in October: the Seal, Dolphin, and ATTO 3. On July 4, BYD's passenger car factory in Thailand was completed, and the 8 millionth electric vehicle rolled off the line there.

On July 10, JPMorgan raised the target price for BYD's A-shares to 440 yuan and increased their 2024 sales forecast to 4 million vehicles. They also expect BYD’s global deliveries to reach 6 million vehicles by 2026, with around 1.5 million coming from overseas markets.
