Chinese automaker SAIC-GM-Wuling unveiled two new electric vehicles, the Air ev and CloudEV, at the 2025 International Automotive and Supply Chain Expo in Hong Kong, highlighting its continued efforts in electric and intelligent vehicle development.

The new models represent SAIC-GM-Wuling’s ongoing push to expand its presence in the Hong Kong market and offer environmentally friendly transportation options.

SAIC-GM-Wuling introduced its first electric vehicles in Hong Kong in 2023, including the Air ev, BinguoEV, and CloudEV, aiming to address a range of mobility needs. The company said it plans to roll out additional models to meet growing demand for smart and sustainable transport.

The company has also expanded internationally, with electric vehicle sales in markets such as Indonesia, India and Brazil.

The company’s overseas strategy combines complete vehicle exports, joint ventures and independent market development. SAIC-GM-Wuling currently exports to 104 countries and regions across Latin America, the Middle East, Africa and Southeast Asia, with total exports exceeding 1.2 million units.
