CHANGAN showcased its global vehicle lineup at the 2026 Paris Motor Show, where it introduced the CHANGAN NEVO brand to Europe for the first time. The company also presented new models, hybrid technologies and plans to expand its sales, service and local operations across Europe.

Held under the theme “Firmly Rooted, Growing Together,” CHANGAN’s global launch event focused on its plans for long-term growth in international markets.

Former Portugal national football team player Luís Figo has been appointed as a CHANGAN product experience ambassador. During the show, he explored the company’s vehicles and technologies and test-drove its models on the streets of Paris.

CHANGAN Expands Its European Brand Lineup

Europe is a key market in CHANGAN’s global strategy. The company has worked in Europe for 25 years, including in design and research and development.

CHANGAN introduced the CHANGAN and AVATR brands in Europe in March last year, followed by CHANGAN DEEPAL in September. AVATR focuses on intelligent, premium vehicles with original design, while DEEPAL targets younger customers with technology-focused, sporty products.

At this year’s Paris Motor Show, CHANGAN introduced CHANGAN NEVO, a brand focused on mainstream family buyers. The move further expands the company’s product lineup in Europe.

Zhao Fei, General Manager of China Changan Automobile Group Co., Ltd., said the company aims to build long-term relationships with European partners and provide better products and services to local customers.

NEVO Makes Its European Debut

CHANGAN NEVO presented three models at the show: the Q05, Q06 and A06. The Q05 is the first NEVO model developed for global markets and is scheduled to launch in Europe in early 2027.

In just three years, NEVO has provided mobility services to a total of one million families worldwide. Since the beginning of this year, the Q05 has ranked first in China’s compact SUV market by sales for six consecutive months.

CHANGAN DEEPAL also displayed two plug-in hybrid models: the S07 PHEV and the right-hand-drive S05 PHEV. Both have been adapted to European road conditions and customer needs.

The CHANGAN CS55PLUS Blue Whale Super Hybrid HEV also made its European debut, showcasing the company’s latest hybrid technology.

Meanwhile, AVATR presented the AVATR T09 concept, a premium flagship SUV making its global debut. The concept highlights the brand’s approach to luxury design and technology.

Hybrid and Intelligent Technologies on Display

CHANGAN showcased its Blue Whale Super Hybrid technology, which covers hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs), plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs) and range-extended electric vehicles (REEVs).

The company aims to offer European customers a range of powertrain options that balance running costs, performance and a quiet, comfortable driving experience.

CHANGAN also presented its Tianshu intelligent technologies, including Tianshu Pilot, Tianshu Cockpit and Tianshu Chassis. These technologies cover driver assistance, in-car experiences and chassis control, with the aim of making vehicles smarter and easier to use.

New After-Sales Service System for Europe

Alongside its product launches, CHANGAN introduced its “With U” service system in Europe. The system is designed to strengthen after-sales support, parts supply and roadside assistance.

The company has established four regional parts warehouses across the Netherlands, the UK and Spain. Its overall parts fulfilment rate remains above 97%. CHANGAN aims to deliver parts to major cities within one day and provide delivery across Europe within 72 hours.

The company has also set up a European call centre in Romania to respond to customer service requests eight hours a day, seven days a week. It plans to provide 24/7 roadside assistance.

CHANGAN expects to have more than 350 sales and service outlets across 15 European countries by the end of 2026, including Spain, Italy, the UK, Germany, Poland and Portugal. The network is expected to grow to 650 outlets by 2027.

Planned customer benefits include pan-European roadside assistance (RSA), free basic maintenance and a wider range of automotive financing options developed with local partners.

Expanding Local Operations and Employment

CHANGAN is also strengthening its local presence in Europe. This year, it established national sales subsidiaries in the UK, Spain and Italy.

The company now has eight subsidiaries in Europe, with more than 800 employees. Local employees account for over 80% of its European workforce.

Over the next three years, CHANGAN plans to increase its European workforce to 1,200 employees and support the creation of 2,400 local jobs.

Through its new models, powertrain technologies, service network and local operations, CHANGAN is working to build a stronger presence in Europe. Its participation in the 91st Paris Motor Show reflects the company’s broader strategy to expand globally and offer products and services tailored to customers in different markets.
